From 13th to 21st September London will become a haven for the world’s best design and designers. London is fast catching up with Milan as one of the worlds design capitals. While your there be inspired with good food, drink, architecture and design.

Held at the Truman Brewery, a cool mecca for design and inspiration. Constantly evolving, always thought provoking; design trade shows Tent London & Super Brands London have carved out an impressive reputation as the most creative of the hubs that anchor the London Design Festival, a beacon for anyone looking to discover the best contemporary design.
Designjunction has firmly established itself as the leading destination
for contemporary interior design and culture, held annually during the London Design Festival and Salone del Mobile, Milan. Known for its uncompromising selection of leading global brands, designjunction is at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge design within an expertly curated space. Located on Oxford Street it couldn’t be more central.
Inspired by the classic heritage of the British members club, tempered by Dixon’s misspent youth in discotheques, Tom Dixon explore’s the newly fashionable ways of working, playing and relaxing in extraordinary environments of the new clubland.
A more mainstream show but worth a visit, its held in the iconic Earls Court. This year Philippe Starck is officially opening the show, being such a character he’s always worth seeing. Vitra are also exhibiting there this year and always come up with amazing stand displays.
Polpo is a bàcaro. This is a Venetian word to describe a humble restaurant serving simple food and good, young local wines. Some amazing Venetian food at reasonable prices.
For some great British grub check out Canteen. Based at Royal Festival Hall or Spitalfields it serves some cracking gastro pub style grub – very nice pies!!!
London Design Museum
London Design Museum located near Tower Bridge is always worth a visit. The recent Paul Smith exhibition was a real highlight for us.
Need some new clothes for the trip, check out YMC based at 23 Hanbury Street in East London. Their clothes are always unique and their shop(s) are pretty cool too!
Not only does Margaret Howell sell some amazing clothes her shop in Wigmore Street is a design haven of vintage furniture and other items for the home.
